Having taken Lone Wolf to begin with, if you firstly ensure STR is set to 10 within the mirror, then take the Bigger and Better talent, exit the mirror, set STR to 12 and the put the other 2 points in another attribute then go back to the mirror and remove the Bigger and Better talent and exit the mirror, the 4 points are all removed from STR, which is then set back to 8. This figure is normally impossible. If you then go back into the mirror, STR is mysteriously reverted to 10 but you still have the 2 points you put in another attribute from Bigger and Better, so essentially you have gained 2 points. You can repeat this to keep gaining free attribute points.
The mirror is in the most northern house in Aleroth (the empty house with a bunch of packages piled up, where you found the book). You can leave the town before curing the two soldiers, you just can not complete the escort quest (or the healers will move on their own and the magic mirror quest will fail).
